The Space

Striking teakwood walkways border the gardens, leading to a separate pavilion that hosts the estate’s private spa. A fully equipped gym and table tennis are also available, as well as a dedicated media room for movie nights and games. Each of the eight independent suites offer a choice of indoor and outdoor bathing, with signature handcrafted baths set in private enclaves of the luscious gardens. An additional apartment sits beside the villa featuring a lounge, billiards and foosball, and can be converted into a ninth suite if required. For smaller groups, Uluwatu Estate can be offered at a reduced occupancy of up to eight guests in four bedrooms. This home is also perfect for events, with the Estate able to host up to 70 people.

The Neighborhood

Positioned along the quieter southern edge of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, Uluwatu Estate is the perfect retreat, within reach of Bali’s hot spots. The famous Uluwatu Temple, one of the oldest sea temples in Bali, is a short drive away (2.2km). The 11th-century Hindu temple hosts a traditional Kecak fire dance overlooking the ocean every evening at sunset - an experience not to be missed. For some more active exploring, the Estate team can arrange diving and spearfishing at Sanur Beach (29km) and the nearby Nusa Lembongan island, or even some clifftop paragliding above Nyang Nyang beach (2km), which sits directly below the villa. The region is also renowned for its surfing, with the hotspots of Canggu (35km), Padang Padang Right (7km), and Blue Point Beach (5km) all within easy reach. Uluwatu is home to a range of popular beach clubs and restaurants, including the Ulu Cliffhouse (5km), the must-visit Mason (4.5km), and the plant-based Alchemy (6.5km). The Estate itself can host activities suitable for all, including yoga sessions beside the cliff top pool, culinary classes with the resident chef, and even traditional Balinese dance performances.
