Cancellation Policies
Villashortstay allows one of four standardized cancellation policies (Flexible, Moderate, Strict and Super Strict) to be applied to a given property.
Each listing and reservation on our site will clearly state which of the four cancellation policies is valid for that property.
Guests can cancel by viewing their travel plans and then clicking "Cancel" on the appropriate reservation.
Before cancelling, it is wise to review the cancellation penalties.
Please contact the villa specialist for any questions about the cancellation policy that applies to the villa you have reserved.
COVID-19 related cancellations
Cancellations due to COVID related issues - like lockdown, no flights, guest not allowed to board a flight, guest falling ill with COVID and unable to travel or any other COVID related travel restrictions - will be subject to the full cancellation penalty of the applicable cancellation policy. Guests are advised to take out fully comprehensive travel insurance with CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason).
Moderate: 80% refund > 60 days prior to arrival
For an 80% refund or 20% cancellation penalty, cancellation must be made at least 60 days prior to the day of check in.
If the guest cancels less than 60 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded. A 100% cancellation penalty appplies.
If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded. A 100% cancellation penalty appplies.
