The Space
Villa Layout:
The front door opens onto the middle level, the social hub of the villa and home to an expansive living and dining room, with a fully equipped kitchen hidden away to one side. The glass wall at the front of the house overlooks a sheltered terrace, the swimming pool and the glorious view. A dining table for 12 dominates one side of the room, and is perfect for a social dinner in the comfort of the air-conditioned interior. Alternatively, you can dine under the stars on the breezy pool terrace where another table for 12 beckons. This multi-function indoor and outdoor space is wired for sound with top-quality indoor and outdoor speakers..
Back indoors, the living area in the main room features a bar flanked by high chairs. Also in this area is a comfy segmented sofa positioned around a large TV with cable channels and Blu-ray player.
The best place to watch an epic movie is on the villa’s lower ground floor, where you will find a dedicated home cinema room equipped with surround sound; a Nintendo Wii; a Blu-ray DVD player with USB connection for external storage devices, and a massive projector screen. Completed with four leather La-Z-Boy reclining chairs, a plush white deep-pile carpet, sound-proofed walls and a bar table, this media room is almost as good as the real thing when it comes to the cinematic experience.
If you’re looking for a less sedentary form of entertainment, a pool table can be found within the glass-walled atrium on the landing of the upper floor.
Outside, the pool is bordered by a stone deck furnished with sunloungers. Head down to the lower level, where in addition to the Jacuzzi tub, you will find a timber deck, also furnished with sunloungers and umbrellas, and a large relaxation gazebo with cushioned seating. Both the Jacuzzi and the gazebo are perched on the edge of the cliff – there is simply no escaping that breathtaking view.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. But most guests just prefer to sit back and relax with the indulgence of a personal chef who will prepare delicious meals with the help of the dedicated villa butlers, who will also see to all the grocery shopping.
This residence has its own gas-fired barbeque grilling station, so that you can enjoy a barbequed seafood feast prepared by the chef and served at one of the alfresco dining tables (or in the air-conditioned indoor space).
Accommodation:
The two master suites are situated on the upper floor, each equipped with air-conditioning, a wall-mounted TV, a walk-through dressing room, and an office area with a desk. Each master bedroom is a dream in white, ensuring that nothing detracts from the ocean-ogling views visible from the king-size beds. The glass walls at the front introduce an abundance of natural light, while offering access to a private balcony for each suite furnished with funky chairs. Each master suite has a stylish black tiled ensuite bathroom with twin washbasins, a free-standing soaking tub and a walk-in monsoon shower with a hand-held option.
Adjoining one of the master suites is a sitting area and a smaller bedroom furnished with a double bed. Equipped with air-conditioning and a TV, and completed with a private ensuite bathroom and a private balcony, this room is ideal for a child but also suitable for a couple.
There are two more bedrooms at the villa, one is situated on the ground floor and furnished with twin beds, and the other is on the lower-ground floor furnished with a queen-size bed and a folded sofa-bed. Each of these bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom; the twin bedroom is equipped with a TV, while guests in the queen-size bedroom can enjoy the luxury of the adjacent cinema room as well as being able to step directly into the alfresco Jacuzzi tub on the terrace outside.
Facilities:
With the villa’s enticing pool, oodles of space and a butler ready to arrange in-villa dining and massages, there’s little reason to leave your abode. You will always have the option of dining at the resort’s gourmet restaurant, and meanwhile the dreamy, crystal-clear sea at the bottom of the cliff begs further exploration so you should definitely hop into the cable cabin and head down to the beach club with its barefoot restaurant and bar. Here, you can swim in the turquoise water, relax on the white sandy beach, or have fun kayaking around the coral beds in the rock pool lagoon at low tide – kids love this! Back on the cliff-top, you can work out in the gym or book yourself into the gorgeous Spa, where treatments are carried out in spa shacks and healing huts, all with an awesome view. Surrender yourself to the rhythm of the waves as your aches and pains are massaged away, and finish off your treatment in the infra-red sauna or in the seductive alfresco Jacuzzi tub that literally overhangs the cliff.
The services of your personal butlers are included in the rate. Available every day from 7am until 10pm, the dedicated team will look after all your needs, including grocery shopping, delivering and collecting your laundry, summoning your private chauffeur, reserving a table at the restaurant, or booking a massage or treatment for you at the spa.

The Neighborhood
The residences are a group of privately owned and managed villas (total of five) located within a gated five-star resort environment on the Bukit Peninsula, 16km from Bali’s International Airport and 20km from the endless shopping, vibrant nightlife and international restaurants of Seminyak. Ubud —Bali’s centre for fine arts and cultural performances — is 49km to the north. The remainder of the island offers a rich mosaic of cultures, tastes, sights and sounds, together with a wide array of activities.
The Bukit Peninsula is a 140-square-kilometre limestone tableland that dangles like a pendant upon a chain at the southern tip of the island. A curious, windswept geographic feature, it stands out in sharp contrast to Bali’s lush, alluvial plains.
‘Bukit’ is the Indonesian word for hill, and this dry-land outcrop was once home solely to seaweed farmers, fisherman and die-hard surfers. Since the Millennium, however, this up-and-coming region has reinvented itself to become the most up-market destination on the island. The Bukit now boasts some of Bali’s most opulent destination villas, glamorous private estates, and internationally-branded boutique hotels, making it the area of choice for discerning travellers and residents.
The turquoise waters are the playground of migrating whales, and the dry, rocky landscape is dotted with wild flowers, manioc, prickly pear cactus, scarlet flowering flamboyants and fascinating kapok trees. This region is much drier than the rest of the island, cooled by coastal hill breezes. Even in the rainy season it is a reliable sun-trap. When the waves are calm and the tide is full, turtles and dugongs can be seen swimming in the crystal waters close to the shore. The Bukit presents some of the most idyllic beaches in Bali; hidden sandy coves – a dream for both surfers and non-surfers alike, although not always safe for swimming.
What and where
For beaches (to feel the vibe of Bali’s most favourable beach destinations):
The Bay Bali, Nusa Dua (15 km) – for a great choice of beach activities for children and adults.
Padang Padang Beach, Uluwatu (10 km) – for memorable photos among lava-rocks.
Balangan Beach, Pecatu (10 km) – for unpretentious, laid-back beach time with a beer and simple food, and great surfing.

La Vie Spa in Jimbaran (9km) is an attractive modern spa that specialises in Swedish and Thai massage techniques, including a dual therapist treatment that combines both methods.
