History

We began our journey back in 2009, when Kim, a specialist in hospitality realized that there was a huge demand for quality hospitality services for apartments and houseboats in Amsterdam. Kim grasped the opportunity and started managing several properties in the Dutch capital. 

Being an ambitious person with an adventurous nature, Kim started searching for more tropical destinations and expanded to Bali in 2011.

Between 2014 and 2019 Kim took Villa Short Stay to the next level, carefully but consistently expanding and upgrading its portfolio, sales channels and clientele.

Due to the covid pandemic, 2020 and 2021 were difficult times for the travel industry and also for Villa Short Stay.
